I am a professional designer who eats, sleeps, and breathes design. I was born in Schwerin, Germany, and graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Industrial Design.
I recently moved to San Francisco from Boston, MA where I worked for an award winning design/engineering consultancy. During my professional career, I have worked as part of a team to come up with design solutions for countless clients. These clients ranged from highly innovative startups coming out of M.I.T. and Harvard to Fortune 500 companies. My experience includes UI / UX design, research, sketching, model making (3D printing and traditional), packaging design, computer modeling, photo-realistic renderings, and final production oversight. My skills include the ability to communicate with engineers and clients to take conceptualized ideas and make them a reality.
In August of 2012, I was awarded a Special Mention in the student category of the BraunPrize 2012 competition. My concept, “the Executive” was part of the exhibition at Braun headquarters in Kronberg, Germany. In 2013, I was recognized by Massachusetts College of Art and Design for my design innovations by being awarded the Dick Keohan Design Innovation Award 2013. My work has also been published in two books: “BraunPrize 2012: Genius design for a better everyday” and Ernst Shaefer’s medical textbook, “High Density Lipoproteins, Dyslipidemia, and Coronary Heart Disease.”
